I am a Masters of Science (MSc) student in Data Science and Public Policy (Political Sciences) at the University College London. My research interests include autocracy and autocratic breakdown, with a particular focus on quantitative study of regime failure contagion (see research section here). My research has brought me experience with R and Python, working with large data sets and machine learning techniques.
In the course of my research I have created AT-ERDS - a data set of autocratic regimes and regime failure events from 1946-2023 - presented at the IPSA World Congress in July 2025. The current version of the data set and its code book can be accessed using the navigation bar above.
Apart from my research into autocratic rule and regime change, I have also worked on AI training and the development of retrieval-augmented generation and memory systems for large language models.
Outside of the aforementioned research, I am passionate about aviation, motorsport, and classical music. I am also a parrot conservationist and a collector of everything from Formula 1 memorabilia to 19th century British art.
